arp head stud question

lets say you have a gsr block and a type r head for head studs would you buy head studs for the type r head or the gsr block? im pretty sure you would buy them for the type r but want to make sure.

Correct, buy them for the head. Now, that said, GSR and ITR blocks are the same anyway so the head IS the only difference.

unless it is a lsvtec setup.

Most used stud I've heard of was gsrs.....apparently b16s are not the right length with any head.
