Where my user name comes from....

Kind of sad actually but Brian LU_20V or whatever found this on craigslist and showed me it.

Yes thats my old car..... And thats how I traded it in for the cobalt :yelrotflmao:

Sad day. Car went to 2 stl area shops and was let down by both shops finally pulling it out for many reasons out of the last shop.. Was there for 2 years.

Car was a 4g63t 6 bolt engine was bored over .20 with a metal headgasket. Head was also worked over as well as the balanceshafts were deleted and a few other tricks. Was still a 14b turbo as honestly it didnt need much more power. This car full interior weighed 1800lbs dry. Thats before any weight reduction. The car was a 5 spd non power steering car as well. Wouldve been a quick lil car. It did turn over before the project was cancelled. Still sad to see it like this.

The car setup the way it was wouldve been around 220-230whp maybe a bit more but only weighing in at 1800lbs it wouldve been a fun lil car. Though it had unequal half shafts so it would of been a handful in any gear other than 4th or 5th.

So tomorrow im going to call the guy and see if he wants to buy the original transmission for the car from me which is in good shape! The vacuum operated 5th even works! (kinda wierd... how that works...) And the ACT clutch. And also correct him on his ad. Its not a turbo car. But it was converted to a 1990 Eclipse GST engine bay harness. :yelrotflmao:

Few pics of it as it was (unfinished...)

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps
