Yeah, I hear you on the LT1 looks. however, on my white car, I just did not like the looks of the LT1 front clip so I put the LS front on it. Now, on the wife's convertible, we were going to do an LS1 front clip but with the color of her car, we thought the LT1 SS front would look better.
