bolt-on turbo kit civic @ 9lbs = 13.7??

Post by SupraRacer »

Becausei have that kind of time....

this developed from a personally amusing comment i posted over on stlsr..

guys mods:
stock b16a2
t3/t4 @8psi
tuned on street tires
full weight...

sound familiar?? back in the day C9's official timeslip was 13.7@102-107mph. anyway i made a comment referencing this and guy got all cunthurt(im sure hes on here) and disagreed with me saying i dont get the track much and that there are cars running 12's and such and why would i bring it up etc etc. personally i could care less and just enjoy a good argument.. but as i have the sence god gave a knat... ive never modified a honda.

So this brings me here, to honda central... you all know the cars im refering to; cloud nine... marks 97 civic and most of the other civic guys who slapped a turbo kit onto there otherwise stock civics boosted 7-9psi and thats what they ran.. they simply couldnt make enough power or get enough traction to run faster. (ie. no dr's, no built motors, no real weight reduction)

is this still true? i asked him to name off 3 local cars that have ran better and he named off 3 cars all modifed past what ive said... are there any?

And GO!!

God, just drop it already. Go back to playing with your fake Supra.

Edit: Fuck it...the guy's mods also include slicks. 5thgen, JesSi, and modthesol have all ran quicker then 13.7 on stock motors w/ DR's. You're bench racing the kids car worse then he is.

wow i have an idea. since rob told you on stlsr 3 names you have to make more stipulations to save your ass. 7-9 psi, no dr, no weight reduction, and bone stock motor. your a fucktard. that is all. how many supras run in the 12's when they make more than enough power to be faster?
i may not be "logical" but at least i can change my oil...

umm, they are the same stipulations....??? he threw cars out that were more modded running more boost and stickier tires..

how do you guys not get that i just love to argue, and can/will/and have argued about dumber things than this.. you still havent given me three local cars.........:laff:

and to the supra answer id say ~80%, most build them for the dyno slip, plus its somehow become cool to say "i run a 12.3@134".. i personally dont get it but hey to each their own..

wow, you crack me up suprafag.

Okay 1st off before you come and post a thread that is about as worthless as your life please get the story straight.

Lets start off by saying this, I have yet to say my car is fast. and I have ONLY stated that its a fun car and is fun to give the almighty V8's a good run. Yes I have beat a few v8's with bolts-on and tune. Does that make my car fast, um no. Do I think my car is the shit and fastest thing on the street, well hell no.

Okay so we got that cleared up.

2nd of all I never made any comment or got "cunt hurt" about the 13.7 sec. timeslip that EVERY bolt on civic supposivly runs. I have no clue what my car will run and never argued or said anything about that 13.7 you threw out there. And no i have not drove my car down the track yet, so NO i don't know what it will run.

So from that I did though tell you a friend of mine had the exact kit I have on now, on the same motor, car etc. and ran an 8.3 on 1/8th mile spinning. So in 1/4mile terms thats somewhere around a 12.95-13.03. THEN i said I had slicks so I'd hope to run at least an 8.3 if not an 8.0 would be nice, but who knows? Which IF i did, not saying that I am, but IF that was the case on an 8.0 run i'd run around a 12.40-12.56 1/4mile time. but again I really dc what my car runs to tell u the truth. Its my daily and I have fun with it.

Now from all that you've yet to make yourself look even more like a dumb@ss b/c when it came to you saying, "naming off 3 local cars that have ran better and he named off 3 cars all modified past what i've said" well thats not even true and you didn't even ASK me that question lol. The z06 corvette guy wanted to see some cars from down here that had equivalent power he makes and that would hand him his @ss, so I showed him 3 cars that from down here that would!!! So yet another lie from yourself supragay.

Then I posted up a bone stock 160,000+mile turbo'd em1 just like the one I have making 7.6 runs with slicks on 1/8th mile. Im sure most of you guys on here have seen Wade on youtube running these times on his SI.

So all this just proves my point that there are 12 sec. bone stock t3/t4 turbo'd civics running 12's and not a 13.7, might I add that 7.6 time wade ran on 1/8th mile is a 11.86-11.93 1/4mile car. and its stock too ;-)

but im so glad you still had your panties in a wad from stlsr that you had to come over to the stlhonda website and make urself look like a bigger moran.
