Worth the read....ok...
i found this car for sale, http://www.ramsteinyardsales.com/item.j ... src=SEARCH
so i send him an email with the following:
i like your car, but be realistic when you advertise something like this. i have a 99 Civic Type R and know what mine is worth... i can get your motor from a private seller for around 3-4K if you buy it from a reputable dealer it's a little over 5K. if you don't believe me here you go.

so then this DOUCHEBAG emails me with this:....Prepare yourself....
that motor is a K20 not an A2. I ordered the car from japan from mashimoto motorsports. The one you are showing is false advertisement. Its not a true type R. The car is worth every penny as advertised. I contacted website you mentioned. its an SI motor with a type transmission. that doesn't make it a true type R engine. check a little more before you hang with the big boys. I sell skylines, supras, silvias, and type R's all day long.
at this point, i AM ROLLING!!! hanging with the big boys....BWAHAHAHAHA....what a character...this guy....so i gather myself and send him this:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, ok...thanks for playing.....
you might know about supras and skylines and all that...by the way i spent the last 4 years in japan....
but when it comes to hondas, i know them in and out....my comment stands, please know what you are talking about before you post. thank you
-Andrew
so i forgot to share my knowledge, so i send ANOTHER one right after that one saying:
grab pen and paper, i'm going to teach you something,...and you can look this up anywhere, the K20A is the TYPE R motor. The K20A2 motor you talk about is 02-04 RSX type-S and EUROPEAN type Rs....True Japanese type R is the K20A the site is correct, if you don't believe me...i'll write out the specs for you...and you can verify this with HONDA!

At this point i'm laughing so hard, having fun with this guy that i can't even take him serious anymore...so i get an email from him:
everything I deal with comes out of japan. Like I said mashimoto motorsports. They import and export cars to me here all day long. I have seen all these specs. I believe a large importing company a lot more than I believe you. I'm retired Army 47 years old. I've been around the block a time or too. So you can take all the info you "apparently" seem to know and by a type r somewhere else. It will sell within a week just like the past ones have. these cars don't last, I don't sit on them long. If you think 10,000.00 is too much for a type r well then go talk with someone else. I don't have time to mess with some kid trying to throw numbers at me.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, ok so this guy is making it too easy...so this is my last email to him, i don't feel like schoolin this old dude too hard, i might give him a heart attack...
Sir, i'm not going to argue with you, you can believe the bull shit the company is feeding you, but i don't buy it.... i'm not going to go back and forth with you, just going to hit you with some FACTS not just "numbers" "some kid" is throwing at you. if you feel like educating yourself so you don't get screwed in the future, that would be wise...but don't come at me with "mashimoto's" bull shit. i hope you pick up what i'm laying down for you,
enjoy....
first review...http://www.carsurvey.org/reviews/honda/integra/r84064/
that would also mean, this website is false advertising...OH NOES!!!
http://www.jdmenginesamurai.com/engines ... e_k20a.htm
here's what you "say" you have...
http://www.jdmenginesamurai.com/engines ... _k20a2.htm
do yourself a favor, look by the starter, and on a square piece on the block there should be a code stamped there, it SHOULD say K20A if it says K20A2, that "dealer" ripped you off...
i'll just leave it at that, good luck with your sale and have a pleasant weekend.
-Andrew

Yeah, only the ultra high performance JDM engines got a number after the last letter. Hell, I forgot my dang car trailer is also JDM and even has a Type R JDM winch.
