i am thinking he needs a new head. Looks like a dropped valve.

It will definitely need some work on that cylinder/combustion chamber. You'll be lucky if the valve did not mess up the piston and cylinder, too.

the cylinder was fine(as far as i could tell) thankfully but the piston and head are trashed.

forgot to drain the antifeeze before i loosened the head :BangHead:
