+1 on the window visors. Cracking your windows while using the defroster is probably the best combination. I love my Mugen visors.SlowOne.5;209465 wrote:i have climate controls cooler but still warm defogger. also, crack your windows a tad...inch at the most. does wonders.
this is the main reason why i got window visors.
The OEM ones are pricey, but nice.

no need to crack windows if you have it set on fresh air.FenianFit;209486 wrote:+1 on the window visors. Cracking your windows while using the defroster is probably the best combination. I love my Mugen visors.

Everyone that I've talked to about this issue seems to have the same problem with their honda. EF, EG, EK doesn't matter what chassis. One thing to check is for leaks in the trunk/hatch area. When my hatch leaked even a small puddle in the spare tire well made the whole car smell like ass and the inside was humid as fuck. Now that it's sealed up it takes awhile but will go away by running the fresh air setting for a few mins.

My Talon does this. Luckily I have a rear defroster and the a/c works. Cracking the windows helps to prevent fog but doesn't get rid of it, in my experiences.
Another tip to prevent fogging is to not breath while you are in the car.

the reason using the ac works is because ac stands for air CONDITIONER, not cooler.
it conditions the air, by taking the moister of of the air... causing your windows to be clear.
hot air on a cold window mixed with moister causes fog. you have to choices... remove the moister or heat the glass...
now with that said how long does it take to heat all of the glass in your car so it wont fog up??? more time than it will take to turn on the ac and remove the moister from the air...
and recycling the air in your car is not the way to keep moister out... when the air is recycled over and over... it becomes muggy whereas fresh air will be fresh.
as long as the ac is on no moister will come into the car.
