I guess some people just can't take the heat.

Wow. Just wow.

FORT HOOD, Texas – An Army officer opened fire Thursday with two handguns at the Fort Hood military base in an attack that left 12 people dead and 31 wounded. Authorities killed the gunman and apprehended two other soldiers in what appears to be the worst mass shooting at a U.S. military base.

God Damn. I can't imagine what the parents/ family of those killed/ injured are thinking. As if being afraid of another country's military isn't enough.

From what I read, he was a psychiatrist with what sounds like a muslim name, Nidal Malik Hasan. I think he was a Major, which would be pretty easy to achieve if you join as a Doctor. A lot of those guys start at O-3 or there about.
