Hard decision. Should I trade?

there is 2 vids of members on d-series with stock k swaps they seem to spin their tires alot one is boosted and doesnt get traction in 5th gear on a punch from 4k spun till redline and spun in 6th and finally got traction around 120
the other spins till 4th
i would say 210+-

One of the guys working out of my shop had a k20A hatch. He used to whoop up on C5 vettes in the 1/8 when it was NA. After he boosted it he really needed more/better tires before it would see any real potential. he sold in on HT and that guy had it retuned and made 585 whp on STOCK internals!

Only experience I've had with the K was in my 09 Si. The entire time I owned that car I wished that the swap was in a lighter chassis...would/will be SO much fun.

i would sacrifice some speed for power everything a car that is 4 years newer was a billion times cleaner and did not have a puke green e-bay

I'm still thinking about it. If this was the only clean 96-00 I had, I'd probably keep a hold of it. However, with my 99 hatch in the works, I don't mind getting something "different". I've had my silver coupe for a few years now and have taken it from a stock D series daily to where it is now. I figure the 4 door could have some really nice potential, insurance will be cheaper, and I'm getting old so I'm starting to like the looks of "ho hum" cars that run their asses off.

This is also why I am looking for a 90-91 EF 4 door roller to put the swap from the CRX into. I'd rather have one of those than the CRX...

I"m not going to do the trade. Just going to put the coupe back to stock and sell for cash. Need to pay bills more than I need a car with a stupid colored engine compartment...
