Bleach is an alkaline and algae likes an alkaline environment, so I would suggest using an acid based cleaner/degreaser. Algae is alive so you just need to kill it, and acid based products should do just that.

Bleach +1. if you have a whole car wash to clean, dilute it in a power washer and spray the crap out of it for a few days.

Once again like said above.Algae is living and grows rapidly.Powerwashing it wont do anything. It may help but 95% sure itll come back either way. I know best just from my saltwater tanks. I can wipe and clean the whole saltwater tank clean all the time but algae will always come back. Its a carwash so that wet area is a big bonus for algae growth, also being that the algae is already growing there matter what you do im sure it will come back at one point in time matter what you do.
