Computer Help!!
Wondering if anyone could clear a virus off my laptop. I just bought it brand new from best buy last December and it's an HP. I took it to geek squad and they said that the virus is not allowing me to install my new anti-virus. Everytime I go to install it won't connect to the symantec server. Apparently the virus is pretending to be an anti-virus on my computer whatever that means. Anywho they said that they are like 5-7 days behind and I need my computer for school. They told me to delete the virus and clean it up w/ the installation of my new anti-virus would be $200. I got in contact with Norton and they said $100. If anyone could help out I would appreciate it.
