Opinions on Polished Lips

I am looking to get a new set of wheels and the ones I found have a polished lip. Just straight polished, no clearcoat or powdercoat or anything on them. Are these going to be a huge pain to keep looking nice?

I've had plenty of wheels with a polished lip...They are easy to take care of. Just wash your car regularly, and put some polish on them every now and then, and you shouldn't have any problems.

Actually, I'm rockin' some polished lip Nippon's right now come to think of it.
