What did you improve on your car this week?

Cleaned up my subframe/front suspension. Ordered some OEM piston rings for the b18 that's going in the teg. Started removing old wire loom to extend the headlight harnesses. That's about all, it's been way too hot out.

Pulled off charge tubes, inlet tubes to turbos, intake manifold and thottle body just so I could get to the PCV system on the S80 T6. Down to the point where the oil trap can come off. Going to try to clean it up in my ultrasonic before I spend $300 for the complete PCV kit from IPDUSA. Hoping that I can clean everything up and then I'll just buy new seals, clamps, and intake gasket and put it back together. Going to get a new boost control solenoid while I'm at it just to be safe. Car is a beast but did not have the spec'd vacuum reading in the crank case when the car was idling.

Picking up new split loom later today and I'll be replacing all of the loom on the harnesses; Volvo loom SUCKS!

Picked up a 94 BMW 530iT wagon today. Car has the 3.0 liter DOHC V8 and Metric Mechanic did a 6 speed swap in the car. Has their fabbed exhaust, too, which is WAAAAAAAAY too loud. Plan on doing something to tone it down a bit just to keep the neighbors happy. Planning on heading out to adjust the low beams later on and I'll be doing a little cleaning on the inside. Car is pretty much loaded for 94; has the twin sunroofs, heated seats, both power fronts, leather, full driver information center, etc. It's currently dropped and I will probably leave it this way. Has BBS OEM wheels on it right now but it also came with some 18" AC Schnitzer (I think replica) wheels that will be going on once I get some tires for them and verify wheel fitment.

Planning on notching the AC bracket on the S80 tonight so I can pull the oil trap of without removing all the accessories.

Picked up an OEM GSR exhaust manifold that is in really good shape, from lurch95hatch today.

List of parts need keeps getting smaller! I'm really pumped about this car, although its not a high budget car with "baller" parts, I'll have built it from a roller and that makes me feel good haha.

Picked up some M Parallel wheels for the wagon. Plan on getting them put on tonight once it cools down a bit.

M Parallels installed. Still looking for clean set of staggered M-Par's in regular machined/silver finish if anyone sees a set.

It's my new parts hauler. Has about the same room in the back as the bed of my truck (when I have the back seats on the wagon folded down) and it gets 25-28 mpg on the highway in 6th gear at anywhere from 55 to well over that. Hoping to find some staggered wheels soon (8's up front, 9.5's in the back) then I'll put some 285's out back and some 235's up front. Currently has 235's all around.

Definitely going to need some TLC before I driver it 700-800 miles in one trip. Needs cabin filter (on order), some bulbs in the climate control fixed, front rotors turned and brakes checked all around. Will also probably get some better springs for it but keep the same drop and some new front struts. Rears are already Bilsteins so I'm good there. Will also probably rebuild the whole front suspension/steering and replace anything worn out back. Not too worried about the exterior body as it is what it is. Want to find some clean front seats and I'll be re doing all of the headliner pieces. Headliner will be easier than I originally thought as it is a multi-piece setup. I think there are 8 separate pieces total, including the twin sunroof covers. I wish the sunroofs were made of glass or polycarbonate as that would be a massive setup.

Diggin' that wagon!

Got the short throw kit in and redid the grease on the rear sway bar.

New rear motor mount goes on Wednesday or Thursday.
