Wet sanded the front bumper and hood I picked for my gsr eg coupe. The clear coat was peeling pretty bad, so I've opted to wet sand the clear off and respray them. Picked them both up for a total of 60 bucks. Not bad for just needing some clear.

Haven't received it yet.. but I bought a 07' TL-S (20mm) sway bar which will be a nice upgrade from the hollow 16mm on the car now.

Yeah I need to get a full cage and I really need a better setup then the teins. I would like to do one event this year but I'm moving at the beginning of the month and don't know where I'll be able to work on the car.twkdcd595;295300 wrote:

Attempted to get my stock sway bar off the CL today, I must say it may be one of the hardest things I have ever tried to do.
The design of those endlinks is the most idiotic thing I have ever seen, rust = game over.
That being said, just ordered Moog Endlinks and borrowed a friends hacksaw :camper:

Went to a local salvage and picked up console lid/compartment, Bose tweeter A Pillars, storage compartment to replace the factory tape deck in the console (slave unit) and installed all of those. Pulled torque converter dust cover and tracked what appeared to be an engine knock to converter bolts being loose. Tightened bolts and truck is dead quiet now. Installed 55w 4300k HID's in low beams and SilverStars in high beams. Got rid of dumps and added tail pipes all the way out the factory location (planning on removing Flowmaster muffler soon and installing a dual 3" in/single 3.5" outlet Magnaflow with Duramax tailpipe soon) and had 10 ply tires from my white truck put on this one.
Plan on detailing engine compartment later on today and giving the truck a good outside wash. Once it cools down a bit, going to clay bar the turd and put a coat of wax/polish on it. As Mythbusters has already proven, you CAN polish a turd...
This is all on my 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 LD that I picked up with a supposed engine knock. Price was good enough I could afford to buy and replace engine so you can imagine my surprise when I found it was only loose torque converter bolts...
