and what they tell Teachers too, and you can bet that bus driver as well ... they're too concerned about liabliity. My wife teaches middle school, and she's a bit on the buff side and can handle herself. There was a kid on the floor in the hallway being kicked by another, aiming for the head each timeNerrej;198915 wrote:they actually told us not to step in and stop a fight when i was in highschool. Of course they didn't tell us to cheer it on though.
She pulled the kid away and physically held him back while he tried to get back to the kid on the ground. Two of her students then assisted and it was over. The one being kicked had a bloody face and req'd stitches. My wife's a hero, right? Well, rather, she was verbally reprimanded and also given a written warning. Nice.
Mgmnt's concern is that if a Teacher or Bus Driver is injured breaking up a fight, they will sue the school for failing to provide a safe working environment. That's what happened when the one guy here posted he took a beating in class and the Teacher did nothing and just told him to "see the nurse"

Kid pulls a shank, the school wants nothing to do with that. I'm guessing the bus driver was just trying to get to the school where the security gaurds could handle it all. They are probably insured against shanks.02Type-S;198957 wrote:Thats bullshit

Well, I'm at least further away from the heart of NOCO. Bridgeton and the area of Florissant I lived in are waaaay different. I don't have gangbangers dumping cars in my front lawn or idiots who can't comprehend what a red light means.Nerrej;199274 wrote:lol, you are still in NOCO lmao!!!!

I work for the North county Journal, I'm shooting something for bridgeton everyweek. And Rob that area of Florissant that you lived in is considered the good part of noco compared to where I used to live. Hell compared to where I live now.Silver Knight;199289 wrote:false. bridgeton is actually considered to be central county.
