10's !!!!!!

1st pass was 11.21 with a 60 foot that could be better. first pass on these brand new slicks. they were spinning on the wheel. 2nd pass was a good 60 foot and was feeling pretty good up until the 1/8th and it started to pull HARD to the right towards the wall so i had to let out before i wrecked. i dont know what happened, i must have gotten out of the groove.

well 3rd time out i decided to disable the full throttle shift feature on my ecu and just full throttle shift without the help from the ecu and just let it bounce off the rev limiter and ran a 10.9

im pretty sure i could have gotten a 10.8 out of it with a few more adjustments but on the 4th pass i was getting too excited and got up to the burnout box and forgot to preload the drivetrain and just dumped the clutch and busted 2nd gear. completely my fault, i need to put reminder post it notes in my car

GOOD JOB! sux to break a gear, but I've sure you've got spares. Everytime I hear someone bashing the D, it makes me want to build one that rips like this.

yea, ive got 2 spare gearsets. im use to it by now..its like changing out lol..although this time was completely my fault it broke..

yea haha, its been about 3 years in the making. ive just always been to scared to take it all out since ive been running the shit out of this engine weekly for the past 3 years and didnt want to jinx everything...but i just thought it was time for it to run some 10's.

Congrats, Mike. You told me 10's or bust. Ended up being 10's and bust. If it wasn't for transmission issues, your car has been pretty rock solid for years now. Get the trans figured out and you'll be able to drive on this engine when you are in a wheelchair...
