FNF ruined it for most of us, thank god 1g DSM's aren't in there and, nowhere near as many of them are riced out as 1g DSM's. I'd murder someone... Nonetheless, the kids in the DSM community that say "i got $$$$ amount of cash under the hood of my car" are the ones that got taken for a ride by some shop and are paying a huge amount for a mediocre or near stock setup.

AND, to the person who said "4k, really, imagine how much we could do with 4k under the hood of a honda"

or something along those lines...you're fucking kidding me right? properly spent 4k would annihilate most setups that are Honda, and i'm not biased at all. of course 4k spent under the hood and on the suspension on a F-body LS1 car would astronomical.

I know A LOT of people with DSMs, and have never heard a single one say anything about "how much $ they have under the hood"......

I assume you were talking about the 8th gen civic when referring to a "newer" civic correct?

Obviously more DSMs because they were easier to find for me. I guess it goes by opinion. I would take a DSM over a new civic any day. Hell, they were equals stock vs. stock in the 1/4.

wow a thread where the op bitches about a bunch of cars that are probably nicer and faster than his pile. Then again he bitches because some of those cars "sound" like they are going fast while driving through a parking lot...yet i see/hear plenty of hondas that sound like they are wot when backing out of a parking spot as well as many other cars that sound just the same.

no i was talking about an ep3 civic like the thread starter owns. i know they are slow but i was saying i dont know if a dsm is nicer than an ep3 just for the fact that the cars are old dont ride as nice or have as nice of an interior. been around plenty of dsm's the are fun cars and easy to mod i just think a ep3 civic is a nicer (not faster) car

Valid point. But Im trying to compare them stock vs stock. Not stock(2 years old) vs stock(12 years old). I've seen a few cars that are in almost brand new condition, and they are just as nice as an ep3. They may not have as intricate interior, since there was better technology and what not when the ep3 was made compared to when the 2g dsm was made, but they are very close in quality and ride comfort.

But I guess I am biased considering I own a dsm and have never really liked the ep3's. Either way, its a never ending argument on which is better since it is all opinion. They're both nice cars in their own right.
