What is YOUR gas mileage?

Post by RyanA »

I know this has been a good reference topic on HT so I figured I'd ask here. List what car you have, what mods, and your gas mileage.

Mine:
98 Civic EX coupe

Engine:
81.25 mm ITR long block
RMF narrow replica header
2.25" mandrel exhaust with resonator and twin loop
Samco intake arm for ITR, ITR K&N filter, K&N 99-00 Civic Si heat shield
STOCK OBD2A JDM ITR ECU
Walbro 255 pump (for future mods)

Trans:
ITR 1-4
LS 5th
4.785 final drive
OEM ITR helical LSD

Running Civic Si wheels with the stock 195/55/15 tire size, I just got 33.9 mpg with all city driving and even beating on the car a little bit. Gas mileage has been going up every tank as the engine currently only has about 600 miles on it.

Wife's car:
99 Prelude Base with auto

Bone stock engine and trans
Mostly city driving but some highway she got 26.4 mpg and she said she put as much gas in as possible. Could have been closer to 27 mpg. I was surprised....
