looks like the typical ricer package #3

- This package consist of mainly apperance mods such as, Body kit and over sized non-functional wing,large and heavy rims (usally blinging but there are some exceptions), various large stickers covering the majority of the car (sometimes these are used to hide body flaws ie:dings,dents ,rust and various scratches). This package may also include aftermarket tail lights that are typically chrome or fake carbon fiber and usally not DOT approved.

Add ons to Ricer package #3 may include and are not only limited to the following.
-Different Headlights with Halo's or fake projectors
-Non OEM White sidemarkers
-Neons (undercar and in car)
-Incorrect badging (a Type R sticker on a non Type R car)
-Loud and obnoxious "Fart Cannon" (while typically this is a performance mod BUT only when its a whole exhaust and not just a add on muffler thats not designed for the particular application its being used in currently)
-Anti lowering kit typically ricers tend to forget about slamming the car to the ground to give the car a agressive stance and no wheel well gap once they install the ricer package #3

So me saying "um...welcome" in the ENTIRE thread means im making fun of it? ARE YOU SERIOUS?! If you would like to know I was saying um to everyone elses post, I didnt bash him because of his car I didnt say jack crap in that thread besides that. His judging by the pictures it has ZERO rust dont see many door dings at all, yeah the tails may not be my style but the paint looks great from the pictures.

I dont know how many time I have said "To each their own". I just think the negative attitudes and opinions that have been on here lately need to get the hell on somewhere because its just driving some people away.

I'll admit I have called peoples cars piles of crap thats because they are, honestly I dont see a big HONDA sticker on the side being that much rice but like you said everyone has their opinions. Sometimes I think those opinions should be kept to themselves, because a lot of times it just makes the site look real negative.

It's your car do what ya want but as chris says don't expect to roll with me being a bill board, Car looks good though but I'd loose the sticker cause I can handle a wing sometimes and rims but putting the logo of your car...Sorry if it offends you just giving my opinion and if ya need help just ask.

So what makes a car rice?

I mean I like to see the ocassional guy being different. I will admit that when I first saw this car, I laughed, but now being older and more mature... People HAVE GOT TO CHANGE IT UP. Seeing the same thing will get dull...

Civic4Life took it in this approach.



It is respectable in it's own ways. He did things that I wouldn't do, but everyone does something in one way or another to draw / bring attention to themselves / their cars. And obviously by this thread, it has gotten alot our attention on here, so in theory, I would say that he did a good job of the "attention grabbing".

As for other cars I honestly respect for being different... My friend Nick went a completely different approach.



No big side sticker or a monster wing, just alot of paint and a fairly clean and smooth bodykit. I also agree that he has done a good job at getting our attention, or at least mine. As for my def. of smooth and clean for a bodykit, smooth as in nothing that will jump out at you and eat children... Example.





In MY opinion, I consider "RICERS" to be the small, weak, beat up cars with all the neons / 15 gauges / clear taillights (thats MY opinion :biggrin:, and those alone do not make a ricer, but it can help contribute) and the loud as broken off exhaust that wil come up and rev repeatedly at many of us on here that have cars that mean something to us.

I consider a "Ricer" as someone who has taken a car that we all love and respect and have made a mockery of it. A "Ricer" is a person that gives out "somewhat respectable / respectable" cars a bad name.

its funny you just made a entire post about nothing that was even said in this thread.

I did not bash his car, i did not say i did not like his car, i did not say one bad thing about ANYBODY, you assummed that what i said was about his car. I simply stated what was done to his car because it was asked twice i also worded it so it would be funny and humorus at the same time because knowing that driving a car like that i am sure that the guy gets alot of shit over it.

Come on its a honda with honda stickers all over it like we really don't kow what it is, just like i said the other night its a mustang do we really need a huge sticker to tell us this.

you see just the huge sticker but it also has all the things stated above, which in most peoples books count as rice, I did not call it anything i once again stated the obvious and included my opinion with it. As far as negitivity are you serious we really want a bunch of riced out piles of fuck meeting up with us and going cruizing or what not? yea cause that will put us up a rung higher on the general publics opinion about people who drive imports.
