I saw this on STL Craigslist. The seller says he invested almost 24k into it. It looks like something from Fast and the Furious.

I could see where they could invest that much into that car. Not that they should have, but it's possible. If they have absolutely NO DIY ability then they are stuck paying gobs of labor for any little thing they want done. Plus paying retail for the parts/materials can add up quickly. When I was in the stereo biz I did several systems that had $1500+ worth of wire in them.
