I guess this is what I get for trying to go to a car show...

So my boyfriend, me, and two other friends were on our way to Kansas City, MO this morning for Import Face Off, (it's like Nopi) and we were driving about 80 and I was reaching into the glove box and before I knew it a big explosion occured breaking my glasses and then all I see is all smoke in the car. It just so happened that the lady in front of us moved out of the way at the last second to avoid a HUUUUUUGEEEEE boulder-like rock and my boyfriend (the driver) tried to serve out of the way but there was someone beside us and it was only a 2-lane highway. So needless to say we hit the rock, bent the SHIT outta the rim, deployed the airbags, shattered my new windshield, and the rock put a huuuuugeeee whole in the wheelwell. Everyone in the car was fine, but the impact hit me so hard because I was so close to the dash that I have the seams of the airbag imbedded in my forehead, all my knuckles are bruised, and I think I'm going to have a black eye tomorrow...All-in-all GREAAATTT DAYY! But good news!! The outside body of the car is perfect!!

Pictures of the damage...So far this is all we know about, but we still have to drive the car to see if any suspension is messed up.

sucks to hear that, glad everyone is ok and the car is still good.

Did you make it to import faceoff, or did you turn around?

Wow that blows, but all in all not bad since the outter body is ok as long as the suspension isnt FUBARed Im sure she will be back on the road in no time.

We rode in a tow truck 100 miles to home! But yeah the body has no damage besides the wheelwell.

Haha actually funny story, we had one tow left and it only covered 100 miles. When we pulled up to my house the tow truck man calculated we went 99 miles hahaha! At least we had some luck today!

Holy shit. I would be suprised if there was no suspension damage. Did you REALLY get hit with the airbag, or did Jeff find out about us??

Thanks Tommy, well now he's going to find out! I guess you'll be visiting me in the hospital now!! ha

I hope there's not...Jeff said the steering rack might be broke but he has to wait till the tire comes to drive it because we happen to have an extra rim!
