Just wandering if there's any cyclists on the board and if anyone would be interested in doing group rides.
I"m a road cyclist, so can't really ride off-road like the katy trail...
And I have an extra bike spot on my yakima rack if anyone doesn't have a bike transport

The Creve Coeur Park trail literally ends at my condo. My brother and ride when we have the time. Last summer we rode at least once a week. He has a road bike and he took it on the Katy Trail without problems. Why can't you? Over the winter, he bought a cyclocross bike.
BTW. All those CRT monitors that you have and want to get rid of, take them to the Goodwill. They take them for free.
EDIT: Holy crappy grammar!

I honestly can't wait till they start and complete the trail that will connect Forest Park with Creve Coeur Park.kleancut;178497 wrote:lolz!

Thanks on the tip about CRTs there's a goodwill store right by my house.
If it don't rain tomorrow, I"ll be down at Ghisalo for Bike MS Kick-Off, $10 to register, 22 or 35 mile ride with 1 rest stop.kleancut;178497 wrote:lolz!

I don't know Forest Park very well, maybe we could get together and you show me around.
They are working on that? that would be freakin sweet, since I live off Page ext and Creve Coeur park trail ends very close to my house.SweetEBPSi;178503 wrote:I honestly can't wait till they start and complete the trail that will connect Forest Park with Creve Coeur Park.

It is, however, the gravel is very small (Smaller than a pea). My brother had no issues with his road bike.99SilverCX;178509 wrote:I thought Katy Trail was gravel...
Yes. It's true. I'm not sure what stage of the project they are in. I'm guessing they are trying to get the approvals from everything. If you go to the Katy Trails website, they start to show projects they are going to do. However, I knew about this before they announced it because the trail they are making to connect CCP and FP is going behind my condo complex. I knew about this 2-3 years ago. On the CCP end, they are going to follow the power lines, since it already cleared.99SilverCX;178509 wrote:They are working on that? that would be freakin sweet, since I live off Page ext and Creve Coeur park trail ends very close to my house.
