So here I am in "Bumblescum, MO" lol and doing work in they're new justice center. I had to make several trips over to the old Court House for equipment. The Courthouse has lots of historical pictures and documents on display. This one just made my dirty mind laugh.

Anyway as I'm looking thru town photos... its a common trend (these were from the early 1900's) that there are only white people in all the pictures. And thats when I saw it.

EVEN THE SQUIRRELS ARE WHITE!

When I was little we lived down in louisiana and we had a pet white squirrel for as long as I could remember. I guess we found her when she was too young to live on her own so we took care of her, or something like that.

last time i was in davenport, iowa there were red, black, and gray squirrels running around.

An old girlfriend of mine had a white squirrel in her neighborhood. Nothing dirty implied there, just there was one squirrel that was white.

On another note, there was a squirrel on the Elmhurst University campus, when I used to work there, called "Lucky". He had 3 legs, 1 ear, 1 eye, and half a tail.

In my hunter's safety class, they said white squirrels are pretty common. Just not around here.
