I just picked up a 94 ls integra and i think the car may have a short somewhere. The problem i am having is that when i turn the lights on, everything turns on fine, but as soon as i turn my signal on and it clicks off, the gauge cluster light goes out as do the taillights? The hazards do not work when i press the switch both with and without the lights on. Maybe the relay? turn signals still work reguardless even when the cluster light goes out, some times when i turn the signal on and off a few times, the cluster lights back up?
any help or ideas would be very helpful, this is my first dc integra so i'm a little lost on it.
thanks guys

Could be a lot of things. look up under your dash and find out if there was an alarm/remote start installed. a lot of those wires are ran in the drive kick panel and in the steering wheel column. for all of those to have related problems it sounds like something was installed into the car at one point. he might have taken it out and never taped up his wires.

i've actually pulled out what was left of the alarm system, and he used t taps so the wires are covered at all times reguardless. Still stumped, i was reading on another forum that the hazard switch might have something to do with it? can anyone verify that?

94 LS Problem!
ok, i found that the previous owner wired in a inline fuse that had popped and that was the cause of the light problem. Now i've got another problem, the other day i was on my was to work and i was turning at a light when i heard a loud boom noise when i hit a little boost, i figured it was just the charge piping that had popped off. Well i get the car home and find the pipe that had popped off the turbo and tightened the clamp down, fired the car up and now the car is in limp mode? I pulled the codes on it and i have a code 3 for a map sensor, code 4 for a crank angle sensor, code 14 for a bad iacv, and a code 41 for o2 sensor. o2 sensor isn't hooked up and i know the iacv is bad, well i replaced the map sensor and the dizzy with a new one to take care of the crank angle sensor problem and fired it up and it's still in limp mode thowing the same codes? i'm stumped and i can't figure out why it isn't running properly? i've even tried 2 different ecu's also and still a no go, any help would be greatly appreciated?

erase the codes and remove it from limp mode drive it and see what happens.justme5424;247043 wrote:ok, i found that the previous owner wired in a inline fuse that had popped and that was the cause of the light problem. it would help if you posted some basic details...ECU your running, if your running an OBD conversion jumper harness, what tune your running(software), or if your just running a piggyback on the p75?
