Painted or not

Sorry, I only have a small pic with the red hood on the car. I plan to have my CF hood painted to complete the stealth exterior of the car. Just wanted to get some quick thoughts of this?

I'll use a old equally bad pic for the car without painted hood in effort not to scew opinions.

I like the black/carbon look with those wheels. If you are going with a stealth exterior, then would it be safe to assume you'll be swapping out those wheels for some stock looking silver wheels? If you are leaving the black wheels then it will never be stealth so might as well have the nice carbon fiber hood imo.

good point, I may have just have to bite the bullet on that one. My thought is when I'm driving at least, its not very noticable and could be dismissed as steelies. Not to mention i have a bright red seat.

The stealthness is more or less for not to alert on casual highway encounters. Not necessarily for hiding at meets and such. I guess the car may never be able to be a sleeper (a la no interior) but I'd just like to tone things down a tad.

i would say paint it...but you can do a candy paint job on it to make it look red but still look cf up close...b16rs(Tim) did it. it doesn't look that bad..but if you want stealth fighter...go for it...paint that bitch and drive it like its stock

Personally I think the car looks great with everything painted red. The car is small enough to where it isn't too much red, but just enough.

Cf is sexy plain an simple. It's jewlery for your car. Painted or non painted i tihnk it looks great to me.
