according to you

the tl-s costs more, has less power, less options, no all wheel drive.

ill take the SHO

like i said..

no honda accord (acura tl-whatever) produced in 2010 will compare to the new SHO

deal with it.

oh and BTW, american dollars staying on american soil.

edit* i was wrong about the all wheel drive.
well when people buy cars from the dealership i work at, that gives me another car to put accesories on, that money goes to me, and i live in america. when a honda breaks, and i fix it, i get that money, not japan. when honda spent 10 million dollars a few years ago to have a R&D plant built in indiana, that money went to americans who built it. when ford opened plants in mexico, oh yeah, that money goes to mexico. when ford goes under, and they are bought out buy another "foriegn" automaker, what will you buy then?

obviously you havent driven a tl-s before, but you have driven a car that isnt even real yet, so your argument makes sense.....

Desperate moves coming from an American brand...can't say I'm surprised.

It's ugly, it'll be a nightmare for warranty work, they'll prolly sit at dealerships forever, and there will be massive recalls.

Besides the conceptual power...I'd prefer the old boxy SHO with the 5 speed...Conan's car. Doesn't really matter to me how much power a car puts down if it's mated to a boring slush-box - paddle shifters or not.

What will be sweet will be in a few years after(if) this new SHO comes out, to see who's driving them and how poorly maintained they become - in true Taurus style! :)

Awe.....

Bull$h!t

I would take a Euro R over that thing any day. Hell I would take a diesel accord over that.

It's performance numbers are nice don't get me wrong, it makes way more power than either of the later, but damn it is ugly. Although I kind of like the interior.

honestly with the cash for clunkers its not too bad lol.

Like the interior. 365hp isnt bad and the engine has been shown to be able to handle more output. Its a DD. None of the original boy racer types of cars are as a crude as they once were. Every car has grown up. This is the case with the SHO. Everyone wants all the options they can get and this reflects in the SHO. Personally id own one of these. granted with an extended warranty different wheels and in black lol. though judging by the size of the Taurus the TL comparsion might be off. This car might be better compared with the RL. But SHO's,Cobra's,Lightning's, or any SVT product was never designed to be a top seller. They encourage showroom traffic which helps sales of lesser products. So they have their place in the market place as well as helping people get into a far less boring version of a boring car.

Take it as it is. Compare it equally.
The Euro R isnt here. And honestly Fords interiors have been getting very nice lately. Also to that top selling info that was posted remember the taurus OWNED the #1 position for years upon years in a row. Before the Camry finally beat it out when ford had pretty much let the Taurus go to the rental fleet side of sales. The Acura and hondas are damn nice. Though honestly I hate the styling of the current accords. The current TL's look like pontiac designed them and are HIDEOUS! The Previous generations were much nicer looking. And to the Honda getting 305hp out of an NA 3.7 Fords Right there as well getting 280+ out of their 3.7 with 87 octane.

Either way theres my 2 cents.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps
