I'm not sure that the engine did that. I have a bad feeling the dumbass that put the engine together did. Almost looks like they ground them down. I mean, if you put the rods in the block without some sort of clearancing, it would just instantly lock the engine up before it could ever start. I think some idiot actually ground them down to make them clear. WEEEEEEEEEEEEE. :kermit:

Agreed. Plus it made them light weight.
