Just to add at UTI you come home with only a Certificate while its not an Accrediated Academic Institution, While Ranken offers it in an Automotive Maint Associates degree. And then you can go on to get a Bachelors in Management/marketing through ranken.

Like Andrew said,
getting the job is up to you, but Ranken basically give you all the resources you need to get the job, you just have to work for it.

i agree with going to CC first. and take a business class. ace it. it can only help you.

something else you might look into is diesel mechanic. the current use and future use of diesel engines from everything to trucks on the highway to boats to generators. really expands your job possibilities.

i have a very good friend tho works in Louisiana as a diesel mechanic on the drilling rigs. he makes twice what my dad does at half the age. (my dad is a server admin for AB) granted its long rough hours. but my god i wish i had went to school.

good luck either way. i also with i was in your position. i do envy you.

I graduated from ranken as well with andyjt. It is a good program and they can hook you up with some really great job opportunities. The teachers are good and they are pretty easy to get along with.
