anybody have a 0bd2 vtec dizzy i could borrow?

My buddys 00 GSR is misfiring. We have tried to rule out everything that we could think could be causing it. I want to make sure its not a bad dizzy so I was wondering if any of you guys had a spare OB2 B-Series Vtec Dizzy I could borrow just for a few hours. Thanks!

most likely the dizzy for sure. happend to me a few times with integras over the years.

What do you mean ruled everything out.. What did you "rule" out besides ignition parts?

Consider: Vac leaks, compression, cylinder leakage, injector's, etc etc

Do a cylinder balance test.... Pull each plug and see which cylinder has no rpm drop.

we know its a 3rd cylinder misfire...vac leaks and stuff would be next after we rule out the distributor. His car ran fine until one day it wouldnt start. We changed the cap and rotor and it still wouldnt start. Found out it was a bad ICM so we replaced that and she started up but is throwing the code for the misfire in the 3rd cylinder. So since the distributor is the last thing we messed with I want to make sure thats not the issue.

If it was the distributor it would be a random miss or all 4 cylinders. Considering you changed out the parts with a new cap/ wires/ plug.

Check the Injector, cylinder leakage, and compression.....

we got it all fixed thanks guys...it was a bad spark plug wire
