Buying a gsr teg would a k24 be the best engine for it

I've been told to put every thing from a b16 to an h22 but I wanna go wit an k series engine

Best is a personal opinion. Do some reserch on each engine and make an informed decision for what your building the car for.

Well I'm buileding it for speed and to have fun cus I has a friend wit an h22 Honda an he thinks he will beat the teg

Most B16s will NOT beat an H22 swapped car... Have fun and turno the B in the teg otherwise if you want to be N/A and beat him, you can build A LOT of power out of an N/A K swap... depends on how deep your wallet is

define a lot of power of out an n/a k series because it doesn't take much to reach 230whp and your pockets don't need to be deep for it either

Yeah maybe it if it was already in the car but he has to buy a whole swap and then build it

OP I would just turbo the gsr motor then gut the car and work on traction. A B16 in that car is not a good idea cause of the low amount of torque

Obviously you missed the title of the thread... Building a decent power K series isn't tough, swapping a K series into a chassis without it is.

if it has a gsr engine in it already... spend 2500 and turbo the car... why spend money on a swap when you can easily 400 horse with a turbo and be done...

I just got a message for a k24 for 2000 an puting a k24 in the teg is my main reson for buying a teg other than beating my friends idk if I can get my friends b18 hatch wit a b16 tranny
