registering a skyline from cali... need help asap!

Looking at this skyline from nwp this guy has for sale says it needs to be registered... anyone know anything about doing this crap and if i get it, how do i register it etc and how to i not get it taken away!

If you had a dealer plate the owner of the Dealer plate has insurance for the plate/ their name; regardless of what car the plate is actually on.

Find out from the current owner if it was imported by MotorRex. Odds are its not since its not currently registered. The fact that it isn't registered means it doesn't have paperwork that makes registration easy which again means it probably wasn't in the batch of cars that MotoRex imported before it went under. Odds are you will never be able to easy register/insure that vehicle as a street car unless you know the right people and even then it will never be 100% legit. The fact that you have to ask on a forum how to do it means you don't know the "right" people and you should probably find a different car. Thats my advice, feel free to go against it.

Judging by how he said i got people to "hook the buyer up with registering" Just sounds not legal by any means. And if he can hook the buyer up why doesnt he just register it and sell it for like twice as more?
