I was agianst the bailout for this among other reasons. you dont give a gun to a mass murder shooting people cause he says he can fix the damage.
Giving money to the corrupt greedy corporations in the lending/ financing market who are part of the root of the problem was and is a terrible idea. It shows how little the Washington elite know about the economy and care about the future of this country. The higher level management/ executives personally bonus'd in the millions and some the 10's of millions every year for bad paper/ unethical business/ greed... now the American people are saddled with the debt of a flawed plan giving them almost a trillion dollars.
I am so mad I could go on for pages but its not something I think we all dont already know... and if you dont... your lacking the ability to grasp it no matter what I say.

AGREED. its bullshit. you can blame greedy corps but people are fucking stupid. you know what you can afford and what you cannot. not to mention, since the bailout, several other comapnies (as well as the fucking state of california) have been writing Congress whining and crying that the don't have the money and need help. this is outrageous. stop living outside of your means. i am totally against this.

I totally agree with your statement about people living outside of their means... socialist entitlement way of thinking makes people believe they should have things they cannot afford. The rest is just stupidity and short sighted irresponsibility.
Some politicians are DEFINATELY to blame for this and a VERY suspect one of them is Obama. Who has a place as being #2 on the list of people who recieved the most money from fannie and freddy, who also got himself quite the sweet deal on his home loan and property, whos colleague's also reaped benefits from the institutions in question, etc.
