the black hole video reminds me of the simpsons halloween episode where homer got into 3D land and dropped the cone making a black hole. it'll be interesting come october 21st

they didnt predict the end of the world, that is just when their calender ended. people just like to have something to fear

Just to let everyone know that if this thing fails in the second and third stage, and the tube/tunnel is broken, there will be a large amout of radiation exposed. Funny how they don't tell anyone that. Stuff like this is done on a daily basis, multiple times a day. How do I know this, because I work with the end result of spinning particles. In the last stage of their particle accelerator, they were talking about GeV (Giga-electron Volts). The radioactivity that I work with gives off an energy of 2 seperate 511 Kilo-electron Volts per particle. Thats a combined energy of 1.022 Mega-electron Volts. In order to make the radioactivity that I work with is spun in the a very large device called a Cyclotron. Works in the same fashion, by spinning it in a circle by the use of magnets and aiming it at a target.
