I see a small difference, either way yellow fogs are ugly in my opinion.

no your just blind .. it's ok

originals are a very bright yellow/amber and the new ones are a clear lens with yellow reflectors on the inside to make them look yellow/amber so the color is not as distinctive

not much of a difference but looks different none the less look fine to me but i beleive they make yellow nightshades but i do like the old ones better

bet the light out put is way diffrent from both the fogs too, not just the color of them.
