Drink a beer and save a life!

Every time you drink a can of beer, soda, energy drink, whatever save your tabs and you can either give them to me and I will turn them in or you can turn em in yourselves.

The tabs are made of a different aluminum alloy that is stronger and more importantly more expensive then the rest of the can. This metal recycled in large quantity provides a great deal money for the shriners hospital and burn institute.

When you take the weight of the tab divided into the net profit of the total recycled metal the final amount of money equates to about the same cost as it would take to keep someone on life support for one minute or just over that.

Throw a bag or cup or something next to your trash can. Also you can save your cans and bring them up to a recycle center and get a few extra bucks!

my gf's roommate is a teacher and we've saved almost 15 lbs of tabs over the course of 3 years

You are correct....but I still drink from cans and plus Tom drinks MD so I have a bunch saved from just the past 2 months!

I dont drink either. Soda or beer. Only a few months till I'm 21 though.
