Bang for the buck, it IS hard to beat N2O...

Its hard on the engine because it causes a surge of torque, not gradual gain. That makes it a more efficient.

Nitrous if done right is not any cheaper than a turbo setup. Sure you can bolt on and go with a basic kit, but if you plan to use it for major racing there is alot more needed than basic kits(same for turbo/SC)

seriously...is he trying to say that Nitrous is better than everything? I thought maybe my computer wasn't downloading part of the post or something. I even clicked on the logo to see if it was a link to a vid or something.

I guess I'm dumber than I thought.

i would like the power i make to be there whenever i need it, i dont like the idea of being afraid to use nitrous because 1. i dont want to blow my motor 2. i want to be able to race and not worry about running out of power and 3. people will say you have NAwWS... all in all push button power is not my style

1. It wont blow if you do it right(just like NA, Turbo, Super Charger)

2. Know when to fill your bottle. Its all about weight. Pik it up and feel how empty it is.

3. You cant escape that one

Its not push button power if done right. You flip a switch and it spray at set points. I would never set up a system on a button. At the least it would be a combo of a arm switch and a WOT switch. Even then I would highly recommend a window switch to keep the driver from spraying during a misshift.

i must not have read all of this right. it seems to me like youre saying nitrous isnt better than the others? im picking my brain as to why someone would speak such a nontruth to totally honest people.

i have an entire nx gen2 system sitting here getting dusty. i ran it on my sonoma for 2 years. i went through a 15lb bottle every week and honestly, i cant say a bad thing about it. i LOVED the way the power just "hit". for the last year i ran it i was jetted for a 125 shot and it took my truck from mid 15s to low 13s. it is deffinantly worth it........when used right. i had the fuel pressure safety switch, rpm window switch, and a throttle position sensor all hooked in with it, and it REALLY worked great. i would have to agree with this thread.......NX >*
(i am SO tempted to put it on the accord, just to blow up the tranny...lol)
