Thats true but its just a lot of work for the same thing that happened 2 days ago. Plus its not as bad at all when I take an aspirin because that thins your blood.

Steph, TIA's are scary....I definately wouldn't be sitting at home. Do you know what Neuro you're going to go see? I work in the medical field and have worked with a few of them in the past year. I would definately make it a priority to make an appointment.

Good luck w/everything, I hope it doesn't end up being anything too serious.

Yeah I was pretty freaked out the first time and the second time was a bit scary just because I was out of town. But with the Aspirin it makes it not so much go away but a lot less harsh.

Im seeing Dr. Conti. She just started at St. Johns not too long ago but has been a Neuro for quite some time, and im seeing her tomorrow at 10:00 so hopefully she can prevent them from happening.

glad you're going to see someone. I've heard of her, but never worked w/her. Good luck w/everything.

Aspirin is great as long as you get it soon enough during one of your episodes.

Yeah I heard she was really good, and she was the only one I could find at St. Johns who has an appt sooner than the end of September so I took it right away.

As soon as I see the light in my right eye, I take the aspirin and that seemed to work very well this 3rd time and the second time I was out on the Lake and took it as soon as I could and it was better than the 1st time it all happened.

Well just got back from the Neuro and she said she thinks this is all being cause by my birth control. I take the Depo Vera shot, so next cycle around I probably wont be taking it and see if these things gradually go away. Im just going to stick to taking my medicine because that seems to help the problem. Guess I will find out in a couple of months.

She also said I might need glasses....DAMNIT
