found out today that i ship off to basic August 6th. I will be in Kentucky at Fort Knox for 9weeks. and in Balitmore Maryland at fort aberdine for 15 weeks!

My brother is stationed Ft Knox right now, but gets out of the Army within a couple weeks.

Good luck i was in the army for 4 years loved it i was a cav scout sniper at Ft Hood Tx. If i can do anything for you brother let me know

I did the same thing but I went for wheel vehicle repair. Get really for a hot ass summer and those hills at Fort Knox. When you get to APG, you get to go out and have some fun in Baltimore. If you don't fuck up.

thanks guys, ive been doin a bunch of readin and watchin videos and what not about basic... doesnt look/sound too bad...

yea i was gunna be a wheel vehicle repairer... but when i took my asvab all they had was track vehicle... owell it looks fun too

Basic it all depends where you go. Fort Knox is non coed last time i went which was 2003. Other places are coed and you have stupid stress cards you can give to the Drill Sargents if you cant take them yelling at you. So I feel lucky for going to Fort Knox you get treated harder which makes you stronger at the end. If you want to get pass basic and AIT easily all you have to do fallow orders.
