don't think it won't occur again. if you feel it even a bit again, you need to get treatment. did they give you a doc to follow up w/ at all?

i have hereditary chronic migraines, and i get 1 a month. i grind teeth, vomit, and sometimes pass out. on top of it, i have a heart murmur.

you def need to take it easy, and maybe slow your lifestyle down a bit. (not saying you do crazy stuff, just slow down a bit)
Finds it funny you (all) check my profile multiple times a day. Get a life.

Yes they gave me a follow up doctor and ton more information that could almost answer all question if needed.

Not making this to be a rude comment, but my lifestyle is fast paced because thats how I love it. When it's my time to go it's my time to go not much I can do about that.

Also it wasnt just a migraine it was more than likely TIA which is a mild stroke. They come they go and leave no trace of ever being there in a CT scan. Really nothing to prevent something like that.

Glad to here you went to the hospital and everything is OK, I know it wasn't a stroke but for those of you who don't remember or know how to diagnose a stroke it is really easy, esp for a forum full of car people, that acronym is F.A.S.T.

FACE
Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?

ARMS
Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?

SPEECH
Ask the person to repeat a simple sentence. Are the words slurred?
Can he/she repeat the sentence correctly?

TIME
If the person shows any of these symptoms, time is important.
Call 911 or get to the hospital fast. Brain cells are dying.

Glad to here you went to the hospital and everything is OK

Thanks so much
sounds like a hemipeligic(sp) migrain, i got migrains when i was 12-17 that would cause my whole left side to go numb, havent got one in a long time though, my brother would get them so bad he would vomit, and be basically paralyzed on one side, he could hardly talk, and was ultra sensitive to light

Scary thing is that I had all those symptoms, plus more.

That first post I made took me about 30 minutes to complete because I couldnt make any sort of coherent sentence, and I couldnt remember what I was doing.
