Well tonight when leaving Sonic about 12am I was starting to have a little bit of trouble seeing my peripheral vision out of my right eye. I was thinking i was just tired. Well we get to walmart and it was getting worse as we walked through the store. I was having a very hard time seeing out of my right eye. So i made Tom drive back to his house. Even on the way to his house I could not see anything to the right of me.
We get to his house and I start to get a slight headache. So I go to lay down and I was laying there for almost 5 minutes and next thing you know I cant breathe right. I panic, sit up, I freak out and dont know what to do. The right side of my body got so heavy I felt like i needed to get up and walk around. It felt like I had just gotten off a tread mill when it feels as if you are just floating. I grab some yogurt thinking I havent eaten enough today.
I eat the yogurt and sit there and try to relax. My fingers on the right side get numb and at the same time the top of my forehead started to go numb. Then the numbness was working its way up my arm and down my face very slowly. Kind of like when youre at the dentist and get a shot in the mouth.
The tingling and numbness went down my entire right side of my body and had no problem on my left side at all. When it got to my stomach it burned pretty bad. All the way down to my toes too.
From when my eye sight starting acting weird to the tingling and numbness to my toes then stopped it was all about an hour. I honestly have no clue why I had that feeling. it went to the oddest feeling i have ever felt to back to pretty much normal. I also had trouble remembering where the keys on the keyboard were and couldnt figure out sentences at first but its getting better now.
If anyone any has an advice what could have happened please let know because I was very worried as to what was going on.
Thanks so much

I thought the left side was a heart attack because your heart is located on the left side but I dont know either way it was so weird and I never want that feeling again.

i know when your entire left side goes numb its normally a stroke. i think a heart attack is normally on the left side as well, but that is when you have a pain in your chest and arm. im not sure if a stroke and switch sides but that is what it sounds like to me, with the numbness and memory loss. i would definitely go to a doctor or an emergency room. you need to at least get that checked out and make sure nothing is going on or if its not a prequel to something much worse.

samzies, it sounds like a mild stroke to me. Whatever happens though I hope it works out and its nothing serious.Tyler;124802 wrote: i would definitely go to a doctor or an emergency room. you need to at least get that checked out and make sure nothing is going on or if its not a prequel to something much worse.

You definatly had a stroke Steph,
Symptoms of a Stroke from WebMD:
-Sudden numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg (especially on one side of the body)
-Sudden blurred vision or decreased vision in one or both eyes
-Sudden inability to move part of the body (paralysis)
-Sudden dizziness or headache with nausea and vomiting
-Difficulty speaking or understanding words or simple sentences
-Difficulty swallowing
-Dizziness, loss of balance, or poor coordination
-Brief loss of consciousness
-Sudden confusion
A transient ischemic attack (TIA), often called a “mini-stroke,” is a warning of an impending stroke. It typically consists of the same signs and symptoms of stroke, but the symptoms are temporary. It occurs when blood flow to a certain part of the brain is cut off for a short period of time, usually 15 minutes or less. A TIA can occur anywhere from a few minutes to several months before a stroke. A TIA is a painless episode, but it is a warning that something is wrong. It should be treated as seriously as a stroke.
I would HIGHLY recommend getting this checked out ASAP.
If this happens again, call 911 Immediately

important question.
I took her to the hospital at about 5am this morning and she is still there waiting for an MRI scan on her brain, but the doctor said most likely it was just an optical migraine which also has alot of the same symptoms of a stroke. We will see when I get a call from her, hopefully its not the progression of a stroke.
