car wont start!!!!!

with the rain today it makes me think you might have a crack or bad seal on your distributer cap. ive had a car that wouldnt start when the weather was wet because of a bad seal around the cap. id take it off and check for moisture before you disect the carb

ground
and see if i get a spark on the spark plugs ....

o yeah and a carb rebuild kit is like 60 bucks so i might go that route ... i know timing should not be an issue because i taming belt was put on and timed no more than 2 months before i got the car i got the car

yea ill do this first then .. see if the carb is the problem

ive ruled out .. spark plugs .. because i get a spark
wires
and that ground .. it might be a problem with fuel pump or somthin idk

sorry cell phone picks...

if you cant see theres a little dampness under the dizzy ... and i felt around it and its kinda moist and oily like ... im still working on getting it off to see whats inside (theres a screw in the back thats hella hard to get to ... cant reach)

no corrosion and there both tight

now im off to gt the dizz off and see if thers any cracks...

i went on to take off the distebuter cap and i think i found the problem the spark plug wires where horrible ,,, they were wiggling off the cap and that might be the problem they also had like green junk in the wire connection ... im going to buy new plugs, wires, dizzy, and rotor and install them then ill see what happens

i think hte green stuff might be corrosion .. idk .. but ill hopefully have it fixed by 2morro

I found out what happened. along time ago i had an accident where i busted the radiatopr. antifrezze got all over the place i thought we had cleanned it all up but i guess some had got into the terminals to the dizzy. hints them being corroded green in color. well the new: dizzy, rotor, spark plugs and wires all worked out. and now the cars running better then before. now i have to stop a oil leak coming from the camshaft cover iguess the gaskets bad ..
