The reason it get higher during an election year is due to the fact that
1. Bush is a profiteer of the oil industry.
2. Dick channey is the #1 profiteer of a oil based company called Haulaburton do a little research and you will find that just about every politicion is part of that company ok i wouldnt say every but ill go head and say about 25% would be eather vested partners or silent partners.
so they have lots to venture and lots to gain by using the power of office. Notice bush is all for the offshore drilling of alaska, california, virgina, and everyother coastal state that might have oil.

Yeah I'm serious. The only communication I have with this guy is reading this post. The posts content and how it's written is the only way I can paint a picture of him/her.
Lets face it, we are fucked as far as gas prices go. Prices most likely will never drop below $3.50 a gallon again unless our gov takes action, and since our leaders have their hands in the honey pot that most likely won't happen.
