Inelastic demand, plus developing countries that would love to buy the gas we don't use, means the American end-consumer hasn't got shit to say about what they pay at the pump. Everybody is treating your post like garbage, because it has been said before. How many emails did we get with the same useless message when gas cracked $3/gallon.

Nobody cares how long you go without it, because you WILL come back. When you do, them big oil folks are damn sure going to make up what they "lost" when you were throwing your little hissy fit. So, in essence, you're telling us how to effectively double gas prices FASTER than they actually would if we kept on truckin.

so lets do it lets stop the excuses and lets do it. And boycotting as a hole for one day would do something that would crash the futers index and then the investers that are betting for it go up would loose their shirts and that would be the end of high oil prices. so lets get it out by word of mouth lets pic a day and lets run with it.

and with this post i say lets as a group of honda owners who have access to cheap shells, get a shell and make an electric car. I'm pretty sure there are enough smart people on here that could put their heads together and make one work. If you dont like the idea of an electric car, how bout a hydrogen car?

will a group of st louis honda people make a difference in the market if we were to make a reliable electric, hydrogen, electric/gasoline, hydrogen/gasoline car? most likely not. however if we were to create one that is somewhat cheap, we as a small group can benefit and you never know, it could catch some national attention.

I'm going to try to be nice in saying this as I don't really know you. Its hard to take anyone seriously that doesn't use correct grammar and sentence structure. It's also kinda ironic that you posted this on a Honda forum.

You might have better luck if you join a Hummer forum and write correctly.

Now that I am finished preaching, I hate the rising gas prices and falling economy just as much as the next guy. Have a great 4th.

Well life is defined by the choices you make, and being a truck driver profesionally or for transportation is not one of my choices.

i won't say too much so i dont get myself in trouble but...

1. yes indeed we get more gas from places other than the middle east and most people don't realize that.

2. if you're gonna bitch about the prices AND have a lazy attitude that's your problem

3. the government is NOT why we have higher prices. it is demand. go back to econ class kids. wallstreet knows their shit.

4. tommygun darling...you do rock. you have bigger balls than most for fighting for your country and god damnit i will boycott with you

Thanks Jen all i was trying to do was to open people's eyes for crying out loud. I myself don't like people to pull wool over my eyes. IT HONESTLY PISSES ME OF. Expecialy when people have the attatude that we have be having for the past 2 years with the gas prices.

People would rather complain and pay high gas prices rather than do something about it.

Im just one person and I belive that I can a I will make some kind of differencre somewhere.
