What difference will a handful of Honda drivers make by carpooling for a day? This all has been done before anyways with no avail. And this is a global issue not just an American issue.

Remember what happened when the owner/operator truck drivers boycotted diesel for a day? Diesel went down by thirty cents. What else happened? Unleaded went up thirty cents.
Ribs. I had ribs for lunch, that's why I'm doing this.

ok so it did make a diffrence what if drivers would have done it too then they would have both went down 30 cents. And who cares what kind of car you drive it still uses gas and when it boils down to it then if your not using your car or you car pool with some one it still eleminates the excuse of there is not enough gas to go around.

I am just informing you guys of what i see first hand seeming i work for the oil companies in the gulf of mexico and i see the oil companies laughing at this whole situation.

Thats fine keep buying the gas at 4.50 to ???????? price it keeps me in a job and i do drive a honda so it doesnt bother me make me more rich. So the bottom line is that i have nothing to venture and nothing to gain i will still get paid.

Gas prices are effection more than the price of gas but the houseing market. car sales and in case you didnt turn on the news today GM will more that likely go under they have to dig out of a huge rut. And if you dont think that doesnt effect you because you have a honda but how may people have a 401 k do a little research and see how much your 401 is effected by the price of gm stocks. Discuss that one

I wouldn't go around saying gas prices are the only or main reason why American automakers aren't making money.

no i agree with you rob but people arnt buying them now because of the whole idea that they cant afford to put the gas in the car that they already own. Or they are waiting. But i will say that it has a big effect on them.

boycotting for a day isnt going to do much at all. maybe if it were nationwide and there were millions of people doing it. but that is something where the date would have to be set a year in advance or you would need some kind of huge publication of the event. the country is in another depression. the price of everything is going up and everything is being affected by it. gas is higher than its ever been, houses are lower than they've ever been. foods such as milk, eggs, etc. are at their highest. there isnt going to be much change for a while either.
