I had some sushi at Drunken Fish at Westport about a month ago, and I got hooked on it. But Drunken fish was pretty expensive.
I had sushi from Hibachi-San at the mall and that was total crap, it said they are made fresh every morning, but I bought the sushi at 11am, and it tasted a week old...
Yesterday I tried a place next to Mid Rivers Mall called Lucky Sushi house. At first I was skeptical because it didn't look good on the outside, and inside it didn't look that great either, but the Sunset Roll and Miso I had were pretty darn good. Almost as good as Drunken Fish, but it cost me just a little more than half the price.
Sp I just want to hear from any Sushi fans here on Stlhondas about their experiences around town with sushi bars/restaurants.

try Wasabi down in downtown clayton, its one of the best in missouri. Kinda expensive, I suggest going with a group of people. I like sensei, its like a fast food sushi place where its not that expensive and its really good.

I've only had sushi once on vacation, and I loved it. Unfortunately, I don't know many people who would like to go out and try it with me. I've heard really good things about Kitaro in O'fallon and Shogun in St. Chuck.
Ribs. I had ribs for lunch, that's why I'm doing this.

I'm actually thinking about going out to Kitaro tomorrow. I've had the hibachi at Shogun and it was awesome. It's been a super long time since I had sushi there, that's why I didn't get hooked on it back then, because it wasn't so great.MyfodoSi;120044 wrote:I've only had sushi once on vacation, and I loved it. Sake in O'Fallon, IL is good, I've been there three times and it's always been amazing. It's in the same building as Hot Shots across the street from the movie theater.

We go for sushi once a week. Drunken Fish is good, but it is pricey. Lately, we go to Yoshi's in Chesterfield, really good and decently priced. Sapporo Sushi off Manchester is really good too.
