what kinda MPG's do y'all get?

i was just wondering.
so far in the accord ive been averaging right around 28 city....thats redlining/flooring it ATLEAST twice a day, no matter how hard i try i cant break 30(city). i took a trip out to indiana, and got 38mpg all highway not getting on it at all just to see what i could muster. the car is a stock 94 accord f22b2 auto, with a intake, and exhaust. i usually get around 400 miles out of a tank, and can barely fit 14 gallons in it when the guage hits E (mostly city)

if anybody has any tips for getting a few more miles per gallon, i would be glad to hear them

im just hoping that somehow, someway i can get 500 miles out of 14 gallons just once so i can brag about it

I average 27.5-28.3 on both highway and city driving. Thats with getting on it atleast a few times per tank.

wierd thing is....same motor, but with the Ls tranny I got 25, the Gsr tranny got me around 26.5.....but the SI tranny thats supposed to get me lower milage is actually making it go up.....kind of backwords

i have no idea what im gettin in the civic now with the d16z6 because the odometer randomly works. but in the del sol before i sold it i filled it up, and had gotten about 250 out of a little less than half a tank. so im hopefully getting that good of mileage in the civic. im game for some gas saving tips.

On my 95 civic(turbo) I get anywhere between 25-30 city/highway. I already drive an econobox and am seriously considering buying a 3 cylinder metro as a daily driver. Maybe an old beat up hf would be better. Stupid turbo hondas.

about 30-33 mpg on a ls turbo 93 hatch.

Air your tires up, and keep your alignment as straight as you can. Keep the least amount of resistance as possible.

Hmm I'm getting like 25 mpg average on my 08 si so I'm thinking I'm needing an alignment because I don't floor it that much.

I have a cd5 accord ex i have gotten 40 or 430mpg but not 500 i love my accord i have to drive 750 miles when i goto louisiana once every 3 weeks and it only takes me 2 tankes of gas i love it i love it i love it

But that may change since we just put the header and exhaust on. :dunno:

I will let you know probably tomorrow. I put 8 gallons in last thursday and I posted 260 miles since then (already 32+mpg) ,mixed driving and revving the piss out of it on accel and decel, and I still have about an 1/8th tank left.....
