dont forget clutch, oil feed/return lines, boost controller, gaskets, good idea to get arp studs, and also get a new y8 block for when that one blows or spins a rod bearing....because it WILL.99BlackHatch;116731 wrote:-450cc injectors

The 14b I believe is an internal wastegated turbo, I could be wrong, but if so, that should take care of the wastegate you would possibly need.

Agreed. I just went for the more obvious parts... but you are correct on what you added as well. You could also throw in the...mike93hatch;116766 wrote:dont forget clutch, oil feed/return lines, boost controller, gaskets, good idea to get arp studs, and also get a new y8 block for when that one blows or spins a rod bearing....because it WILL.
-Turbo timer
-Walbro fuel pump
-Wideband
-Oil catch can
-Fuel pressure regulator
Not all of those are needed, but are helpful in the build.
I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!

You'd have to disable the internal wastegate on the 14B and get a manifold that will accept an external wastegate and use a 5 pound spring.jdmjerry07;116815 wrote:right so thats what my friend told me to about the internal wastegate being 12 psi does that mean i cant tune it to 5 and i have to get another turbo?

I'm unsure if this is the proper way, someone can correct me if I'm wrong. You can weld the wastegate shut.jdmjerry07;116865 wrote:how do i disable the wastegate inside?

10-12psi may be a little to much for a stock block. D16 rods and ringlands start to go around 200 whp.Tyler;116871 wrote:why not just run 10-12 psi?

ya i know, but build the block enough to withstand it and it would be worth it imo. might cost a little more, but would give you more power and room for farther modding later on.SilverStreak;116872 wrote:10-12psi may be a little to much for a stock block.
