bumping a dead thread. the cars been down for quite some time. working on a full inside & outside wire tuck along with a home made milspec engine harness.
i opened a can of worms with the inside wiring. :O but once its done should look pretty good. as well as be super simple to work on.
ill snap some iphone pics later. its a mess.

In for the pics!!! those edm covers are sick! i just found out about theses last month, a guy on HT was selling a set but one was chiped..he wanted a pretty penny for em.
why Hids though? I would thought as nice as your car is , you'd go retrofit instead of hids

multicolor wins!
some iphone pics from today. tons of work for me this year to try and get the car up and running for next season. i plan on welding the holes where u see the grommets and obviously painting the bay all 1 color.
i want to paint the car the same color as the first molding and then do the inside, bay and behind the front fenders a darker shade of the cocoa butter.

its an eyesore right now thats for sure, the flat blacked bay over the red was just a hold me over because i had plans of re-spraying the bay but i had a limited time in the garage to get my swap done so we just wanted to cover up the red as best as possible for the time being.
hopefully the motor will be sold towards a K20-r so im not to worried about the engine wiring harness right now. if not then i plan on picking up all new mounts and some other things to clean up the bay.
i have a s2k clutch mc waiting to go in once the spacer comes in, so that will clean up the driver side res's a bit.
also building new fuel lines and inline filter. plan on redoing the brakes as well as hiding the prop valve in the cabin on the firewall.
big plans for the car an im also in the middle of a job change. came across a job that seemed a little to good to be true so i jumped on it. ill be a concrete and soil tech next month. the company is paying for my schooling to get me soil and aci certified and im just so freaking stoked about this.
the cars been sitting under the car cover all winter since last october. been running the subaru daily. rocking the yak roof rack to tow my bike back and forth to spots when i ride.

got some parts ordered up today. got the spacer for my s2k clutch cyl. now i just need to figure how i want to run my clutch line, thinking about a banjo to a bulkhead fitting straight back into the firewall then run it out the driver side fender and down to the front. should hide it pretty well just not sure if it would work or not.
if that dont work i will probably just drop it straight down to a bulkhead in the bay and hide the line up under the bay somewhere.
time will tell need to test fit the s2k clutch res.
money is tight. so its going to take a long ass time on this damn bay.

for shits and giggles. here is my dirty daily. nothing special, custom installed yak rack to the OEM roof rack mounts.
looking @ some pic select coil overs, roll & pull fenders and 18x10 rota grids, calling it a day then.

shameless plug...

and where my beat civic sits.
