I'm pretty sure I remember who powdercoated/painted it and it would just be a quick PM away to figure out what the color was. But hey, its not like you can't go to any paint shop and say, "Hey, paint this valve cover this color". Or can you... /sarcasmJVolsch;155810 wrote:I doubt Josh actually knows the VC's paint code, as it is in no way marked on the valve cover.
Either way, cool car moook. It did look good.

Ok.. here is the low down. I know the color code... I know who tucked the bay, I know quite a bit about that car... how do I know this.
Mike and I talk to either... OMG. Who knew.
I will keep the info disclosed since it wasn't my car or my info to give out, even though several others know info on that car as well.
When Joe / JVolsch brought the car to N2HiFi's to have the security system installed, I remember the elaborate install and ALL the equipment that went in, and then a few months later due to Joe worrying about the car being stolen, but everyone in *GMR* got to see that car up close and study everything.
The good, the bad, and the interesting.
The Miracle Whip was a nice car, but I think Mook would have made a better "Hot Sauce" EM1

not a paint code it's powder coated , i know who did the work and who still has about a lb of the powder left over from when he did mooks , the same person also did alikats pink h22 vc also.JVolsch;155810 wrote:I doubt Josh actually knows the VC's paint code, as it is in no way marked on the valve cover.
it's not a secret mix or anything it's just knowing what company the powder is from and what color to order.
the color is hot and trust me i wanted to do a vc in the same color but i am sure that if i did i would just get shit for biting somebody elses style, even though it's been almost two years now since that car was parted out and since mook owned it
but fuk this is a whole lot of discussion over a freaking valve cover hahahahaha... this shit kills me sometimes

the white car looked real good. Simple and clean for sure!
As for the J's racing VC, it has quite a few different powdercoat names. You can buy the color here if you want.

yeah i remember pointing out that it may have started out as an auto since there was the automatic transmission tag in the glove box that would hang from the auto shifter when the car was still brand new.99BlackHatch;155904 wrote: When Joe / JVolsch brought the car to N2HiFi's to have the security system installed, I remember the elaborate install and ALL the equipment that went in, and then a few months later due to Joe worrying about the car being stolen, but everyone in *GMR* got to see that car up close and study everything.
