its not jdm is the point he is trying to make. the j's racing is JDM, rota's are knockoff wheels, the main reasons they are popular is because they have the "jdm" style, with a bearable price tag. so password jdm intake=not jdm, j's racing cf intake=real jdm. :priest:

i agree totally. i really like this website in the begining but then all the main guys from the begining went away and now its all this "i hate ricers" "$520 fart can" "JDM replica" BULL SHIT.

Im not doing anything to my valve cover: im swapping, its pointless.

thank you all for the compliments on my car.

im glad my car "looks" slow if thats possible, youre an idiot.

wheels, tires, camber kits are all on the way so ill decide if i want to post up a thread when thats all on, id hate to start another thread like this one has turned out. P.

I mean an intake is an intake but this one just is better for dily driving/ cruising around. If I wanted the most hp I would have bought an AEM. So call me a ricer or whatever but it was the best intake for what I wanted.
Honestly any intake thats functional is perfect for daily driving, as for torque when daily driving thats a whole new thing your talking here and I don't think you quite understand tq and hp. Torque is good off the line and HP is what you want to move after that, it works in sorta like a team work kinda way lol. The password JDM intake is a great product and regaurdless it has great dyno sheets for both single and dual motors but as Spork said it doesn't affect the B-series as well as it should. Either way your numbers arn't far off the AEM Aj so calm down and no ones calling you a ricer for having that intake cause honestly if I had $180 to throw down on one I would just cause it performs and looks good.

what aj was trying to say is that the Whale penis has a different power band then the CAI and SRI, since they have a "power chamber" they provide ALOT quicker throttle responce then the typical intakes.

The J's racing intake was designed and created for one thing and one thing only and that was for road racing where quick throttle responce and mid range power are needed more then anything else (and they still offer high rpm power also just not as much as CAI).

CAI make more power on the street then the power chamber style intakes because they have a higher intake volocity (the air in the tube is moving at a higher speed when it enters the TB) thus creating a "super charging effect"

Short ram intakes make the most power on the dyno because they have the shortest path for the air to travel but because it still has the same effects as the CAI (such as the increase in port volocity/super charging effect).

This information is FACT and based on ALOT of time spent figuring out what makes power correctly, I spend alot of my time reserching parts and gains before i buy somthing just cause it looks pretty.

The power chamber intakes are more popular now then they have been in the past because of the drop in price due to the "replicas" and because of the JDM bandwagon. People want the jdm look and style but do not want to spend the cash or time to build their cars correctly. They typically just buy a whole bunch of "look alike" parts and toss them on their car with out a plan of attack and just assume that they will flow together and this usally does not happen. Case in point 2coupes red civic.

you should really stop with the one line comments and unintelligent remarks.

If your going to be a active member of this board please make a attempt to make your post productive and constructive. Insulting sombody makes you look like a ass and in no way makes you anybetter then the person your making comments about.
